PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 15, 2003--The second "Journees des Cordeliers" will take place in Paris, France between October 1-3, 2003, under the joint organisation of Pierre & Marie Curie University - Paris VI and the biopharmaceutical company, IDM (Immuno-Designed Molecules). Founded in 1993, IDM is one of the European leaders in cellular immunotherapy in the fight against cancer.

This conference will give internationally renowned doctors and scientists a chance to present their work concerning the latest advances in immunology and their applications in the treatment of cancer.

A scientific event of international importance, this conference will unite 150 researchers and clinicians from three continents. It is the result of a successful union between the world of academic research and that of applied research, the public sector and business.

The main themes to be discussed during the working sessions are tumors and their microenvironment and future therapeutic approaches. A presentation of scientific posters is scheduled for October 2nd.
