PEC Solutions Announces Department of Homeland Security Contract Awards; PEC to Continue Support of Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 7, 2003--PEC Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ:PECS), today announced that the company received two task order awards under an existing blanket purchase agreement from the Department of Homeland Security's Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services. The task order awards issued under the blanket purchase agreement total $4.6 million over one year. PEC will provide a host of program management, acquisition, technical, quality assurance, and other support services to sustain a complex and diverse set of initiatives within the Customer Service Division, a major component of the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS). PEC will assist the National Customer Service Center (NCSC), the newly formed Customer Assistance Office (CAO), and other related projects that were implemented to better serve the public by providing choices in accessing benefits information including over the Internet, via telephone, and by visiting local offices.
