PHOENIX, July 16 (UPI) -- The Phoenix Suns agreed to terms Wednesday with Brazilian guard Leandrinho Barbosa, the 28th pick in last month's NBA draft.

Barbosa was taken with the next-to-last pick of the first round by the NBA champion San Antonio Spurs and traded to Phoenix for a future first-round pick. He joined Serbian forward Zarko Cabarkapa, the 17th overall selection who signed with the Suns on Monday.

The 20-year-old Barbosa played last season for Bauru Tilibra in his homeland and averaged 28.2 points and 7.0 assists while shooting nearly 45 percent from three-point range.
