LISBON, Aug 1 (AFP) - FC Porto president Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa said Friday the club had no intention of selling their star striker Deco.

"Deco is not negotiable," he told Portuguese sports daily A Bola.

He was reacting to reports that France's Paris St Germain had made a 19 million euro (21 million dollar) bid for the Brazilian-born playmaker.

PSG president Francis Graille, with 30 million euros from the sale of Brazil World Cup winner Ronaldinho to Barcelona, told the A Bola on Thursday that he had been prepared to break the bank for Anderson Luis de Souza, or Deco, but Porto turned down the offer.

Pinto da Costa has said Deco is a key member of the squad for the European Champions League campaign.

Deco is credited with helping Porto win both the UEFA Cup and Portuguese champions last season and is hugely popular with the club's fans.
