| Celebrity poker showdown to air
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- There are some great poker players among celebrities, so the Bravo network says it will air the first "Celebrity Poker Showdown" in Las Vegas. Bravo plans to air a six-part series during the winter, hosted by Kevin Pollak, with commentary by world-class poker player Phil Gordon, who has won nearly $1 million in poker tournaments in the last two years. "We're going to take Hollywood's finest and sit them down at a poker table in order to find out if they can bluff as well as they can act," the "West Wing" star said. "Showdown" will tape before a live audience next month at the Palms Casino Resort. Each episode will feature five celebs in a No Limit Texas Hold'em contest. Winnings will go to charity. The winner from each week's game will go on to compete in the championship final episode.
