ARLINGTON, Texas (Ticker) -- Brandon Inge had two hits and tied a season high with three RBI as the Detroit Tigers snapped a four-game losing streak with a 7-4 win over the Texas Rangers.

Inge's RBI double tied the game, 3-3, as the Tigers rallied for four runs in the fifth inning. He then added a two-run single in the next frame to cap Detroit's scoring.

Since being recalled from Class AAA Toledo on Wednesday, Inge is 8-for-19. His RBI were his first in the major leagues since June 14.

"This is the best I have ever seen him hit," Tigers manager Alan Trammell said. "He has had a hit in (all five games) since coming back. That's what we are looking for."

Tigers starter Jeremy Bonderman (6-15) won back-to-back starts for the first time all season. The rookie righthander allowed three runs - one earned - and four hits in seven innings. Bonderman struck out two and walked three.

"It's not really confidence as much as it is consistency," Bonderman said. "We are all trying hard. Sometimes you make mistakes. We played well as a team tongiht and got the win. I'm just trying to do my part."

"He didn't look like a 15-game loser," Rangers manager Buck Showalter said of Bonderman. "Whoever drafted him in the first round should be proud. He showed great presence for a 20-year-old. He's got a great future."

Chris Mears allowed a run in the eighth inning and Danny Patterson picked up his second save with a perfect ninth.

The Rangers got on the board in the fourth inning when Shane Spencer drew a bases-loaded walk, Laynce Nix drove in a run with a sacrifice fly and Einar Diaz made it 3-0 with a run-scoring groundout.

In the next inning, though, Carlos Pena and Craig Monroe led off with back-to-back homers. Inge tied the game with his double later in the frame and came around to give the Tigers a 4-3 lead on a sacrifice fly by Warren Morris.

"It was nice to change the momentum in a game," Trammell said. "We haven't done that all year. Goes to show you things can go our way."

Rangers starter Juan Dominguez (0-1) was knocked around in his major league debut, allowing four runs and seven hits in 4 2/3 innings.

"It was different from the minors," Dominguez said. "Hitters adjust quickly and I try to do what I need to do. It's my first outing. I'll try to make some adjustments."

Dominguez was called up from Class AAA Oklahoma before the game.
