In a Time magazine survey released Sunday, Mr. Kerry is ahead 48 to 43 percent among likely voters, with independent candidate Ralph Nader getting four percent.
The Time poll of 1,200 people shows voters think Mr. Kerry would do a better job than the president on handling the economy. But the two men drew virtually equal support when it comes to moral values, handling the situation in Iraq, and leading the war on terrorism
